Dear Father,
It's with great sadness and sorrowful regret,
That I've lost my dearest father whom I hardly met,
Regardless of the distance that kept us apart,
You always remained deep rooted in my heart,
You were upright, honest and caring as I fondly remember,
Cherished memories will constantly linger,
Now you are with your true love, your pain has gone,
Please God grant me the strength to carry on,
Until, that final day Lord when you call me home.
